A Dundalk FC football jersey signed by the League Championship winning squad and Europa League heroes has sold for €800 at a charity auction in Gregory’s Pub in Kilcock, Co.Kildare.
The jersey with ‘Kilduff 16’ on the back was donated by Kilcock man and Dundalk striker Ciaran Kilduff to the customers of Gregorys who were raising money by growing their beards for Movember and getting them shaved tonight, December 3rd in the pub, whilst hosting an auction at the same time.
Their kind efforts were for a very worthy cause To raise money for Robyn Smith, a little girl battling childhood cancer. In addition to the ‘Kilduff Keepsake’, there were also a couple of signed Liverpool jerseys up for grabs. Fair play to all involved and to Ciaran for organising the jersey.
At the time of going to post, the proud owner of the Lilywhites shirt and kind-hearted highest bidder, wishes to remain anonymous.
